Willie Jackson led five Rockets in double figures with 17 points and 10 rebounds as Toledo cruised to a 99-58 victory over Wilberforce at Savage Arena Saturday night.

Toledo controlled the action throughout the evening, jumping out to a 13-2 lead and never facing a serious threat from the Bulldogs, an NAIA school that fell to 3-4 on the season. Toledo led 52-29 at halftime, and head coach
Tod Kowalczyk was able to empty his bench midway through the second half.
Up next for the Rockets is a trip to Wright State on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Tip-off time is set for 7:00 p.m.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half
- Toledo jumped out to an early 13-2 behind three triples from Nate Navigato.
- Wilberforce trimmed the lead to 19-11 on a jumper by Tony Collins with 10:21 left in the half.
- The Rockets answered with a 22-4 run to make the score 41-15 with 4:49 left in the half.
- Wilberforce finished out the half with a 14-9 run to close the gap to 52-29 at halftime.
- Willie Jackson dominated the final 10 minutes of the half, ending up with 13 points and six rebounds in the first 20 minutes of play
Second Half
- Wilberforce's Jabril Hunter's jumper cut the lead to 54-37 with 17:44 left.
- Toledo answered with a 21-6 run that was capped by a three-pointer by Jaelan Sanford that put the Rockets up 75-43 with 11:15 left.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Toledo shot 52.4% from the field to just 32.8% for Wilberforce.
- The Rockets forced 22 turnovers and committed 13.
- Toledo outrebounded the Bulldogs, 44-31.
- Toledo connected on 11-of-33 from three-point range, led by 4-of-6 from sophomore guard Spencer Littleson and 3-of-5 from senior forward Nate Navigato.
