TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo (15-6, 7-1 MAC) made an incredible 12 shots in a row during a game-deciding stretch in the first half on its way to a resounding 101-75 triumph over Bowling Green (12-9, 3-5 MAC) on Saturday night before a season-high 6,812 fans in Savage Arena. The margin of victory was the Rockets' largest ever in the 171-game series history and extended UT's winning streak to a season-high seven games.
 
Senior guard Tre'Shaun Fletcher put on an impressive all-around display for Toledo with a team-high 26 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists while shooting 12-of-15 from the field in 29 minutes. Fletcher was joined in double figures by junior forward Nate Navigato (17 pts.), junior guard Jaelan Sanford (14 pts.) and sophomore center Luke Knapke (14 pts., nine reb.).
 
Toledo was scorching the nets throughout the night with its 67.2 field-goal percentage (39-of-58), marking its fifth-best ever shooting performance in a Mid-American Conference contest as well as Savage Arena history. The Rockets also knocked down eight-of-17 three-point shots (47.1 percent) to register their 10th victory in their last 11 contests.
 
Sophomore guard Dylan Frye and redshirt freshman Justin Turner led Bowling Green with 13 points apiece.
 
The Rockets limited the Falcons to a 42.2 field-goal percentage, just below their opponent's season shooting mark of 42.5 percent in league play.  Toledo also dominated the glass with a 39-24 rebounding advantage.
 
Toledo fell behind 13-8 just over six minutes into the contest before a Sanford jumper and slam from sophomore forward Willie Jackson cut Bowling Green's lead to one at the 12:38 mark. After a pair of free throws from Falcon junior guard Antwon Lillard, freshman guard Dylan Alderson's trey tied the score and ignited a 15-2 run that put the Rockets ahead to stay.
 
Toledo blew the game open later in the half with an 8-0 burst for a 45-24 cushion with just under three minutes before halftime. Fletcher's trey two seconds before intermission gave the Rockets a 54-30 halftime lead, their biggest advantage at the half this season.
 
UT put away any hopes of a Falcon comeback early in the second half. Navigato tallied seven points as part of a quick 9-2 burst for a 63-32 advantage that forced Bowling Green to take a timeout with 17:09 remaining.
 
The Rockets' lead didn't fall below 20 points the remainder of the game.
 
Toledo returns to action on Tuesday, Jan. 30 when it hosts MAC West Division foe Ball State (13-8, 4-4 MAC). Tip-off time in Savage Arena is set for 7:00 p.m.
