The Rockets' lineup at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular will include freshman Thomas Thurloway, junior Stephen Watts, junior Colin Joseph, sophomore Spencer Shoemaker and freshman Grant Godfrey.
UT is coming off an 11th-place finish at the Louisiana Classics on Feb. 27-28 at the Oakbourne Country Club (Par-72, 6,898 Yards). The Rockets shot 47-over par 911 (296-306-309) over the course of 54 holes to find themselves tied for the 11th spot with Louisiana Tech among 15 teams.
Individually, Joseph paced UT at eight-over par 224 (73-77-74) and tied for 24th place, followed by Watts who finished tied for the 35th spot at 10-over par 226 (73-76-77).
The Rockets will participate in this weekend's event for the second-straight year. Last spring, UT fired rounds of 294, 290 and 317 (901 total) to finish in ninth place and trailed team champion No. 18 South Florida (288-280-281=849) by 52 strokes.Â
Individually, former Rocket Otto Black (70-74-79) and Watts (70-72-81) led Toledo at seven-over par 223 to finish in a five-way tie for 26th spot.
USF's Chase Koepka (70-67-70) captured medalist honors at nine-under par 207 and posted a decisive five-stroke victory over runner-ups USC-Upstate's Ryan Cornfield (71-72-69) and teammate Rigel Fernandes (69-74-69) at four-under par 212.

Surrounded by an abundance of natural Florida beauty, the El Campeón 18-hole championship course was designed by Chicago-based course architect George O'Neil and built in 1917 - with further enhancements in 1926 by Charles E. Clarke of Troon, Scotland.
El Campeón is one of the South's oldest golf courses and blends unusual Central Florida elevation changes of more than 85 feet with features of traditional golf design, including spectacular rolling fairways and undulating greens.
The course's signature hole is the Par-5, 17th hole - which features a long double dogleg that has more obstacles than some entire courses.
Following the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular, UT will compete in the Hoosier Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, April 1-2 in Bloomington, IN.
