Toledo Places Eighth at Louisville's Cardinal Cup

Simpsonville, Ky. – Toledo's eighth-place standing remained unchanged during Sunday's final round at Louisville's Cardinal Cup as the Rockets finished with a team score of 49-over par 913 at the par-72, 6,250-yard University of Louisville Golf Club.
 "I'm happy with our eighth-place finish against what is a very tough field, but I thought we could have played better today," Head Coach Nicole Hollingsworth said. "The  conditions were really difficult which resulted in higher scores from everybody. I just wish we could have been a little more consistent with our play."
Junior Hannah Kochendoerfer carded UT's best round of the day with a four-over par 76, a score that moved her up 12 places during today's play to a 48th-place tie at 18-over par 234 (80-78-76).
Juniors Pimchanok Kawil and Pinyada Kuvanun topped the Rockets individually by tying for 19th place at nine-over par 225 after each shooting seven-over par 79s today.
Sophomore Saranlak Tumfong tied for 42nd place at 17-over par 233 (83-72-78), while junior Natcha Daengpiem tied for 68th place at 25-over par 241 (79-81-81) in her first tournament of the fall.
The tournament included seven teams ranked among Golfstat's Top 50. The host No. 41 Cardinals captured the tournament title at 16-over par 877, five
