Rockets Tied for Fourth After Two Rounds at Rainbow Wahine Invitational

WAHIAWA, Hawaii – Toledo sits in a fourth-place tie following the first two rounds on Tuesday at Hawaii's Rainbow Wahine Invitational. The Rockets posted a team score of 11-over 299 over the first 18 holes before improving that total by eight strokes in their second round.
Junior Pinyada Kuvanun (72-73) and sophomore Saranlak Tumfong (75-70) both reside in the Top 10 on the individual leaderboard and are tied for seventh place at one-over par 145. Tumfong carded UT's best round of the day with a career-best two-under par 70 thanks to birdieing her final two holes.
Junior Pimchanok Kawil is tied for 24th place at five-over par 149 (76-73), junior Natcha Daengpiem is tied for 35th place at seven-over par 151 (76-75) and junior Hannah Kochendoerfer is tied for 52nd place at 13-over par 157 (79-78).
Also competing in the event as individuals are sophomores Donchanok Toburint (T-52nd/78-79=157) and Thunpijja Sukkasem (T-58th/81-80=161).
No. 48 Mississippi leads the 12-team field at three-under par 573 (287-286) with Grand Canyon three strokes behind the Rebels at even-par 576 (289-287).
The final round of the tournament will be held on Wednesday and begins with a 2:00 p.m. shotgun start.
