KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Toledo women's soccer team remained unbeaten in Mid-American Conference play after a 0-0 draw with Western Michigan on Sunday afternoon at the WMU Soccer Complex.
The Rockets (5-4-3, 2-0-2 MAC) fought off 24 Western Michigan shots to keep the contest scoreless. Redshirt freshman
Madison Perrin made eight saves in goal for UT for her fifth shutout of the season.Â

Sophie Pohl each took three shots to lead the Midnight Blue & Gold offensively.
Western Michigan (7-3-1, 2-1-1 MAC) out-shot UT 24-9 and took 12 corner kicks compared to five for the Rockets. WMU goalie Stephanie Heber stopped seven shots for the Broncos.Â
The Broncos threatened early with a pair of attempts that bounced off the post. Neither team would get as close for the remainder of the contest.
The Rockets are one of two unbeaten teams left in conference action.Â
The women's soccer team travels to Central Michigan to take on the Chippewas on Thursday, Oct. 5 before hosting Eastern Michigan on Sunday, Oct. 8.
