Toledo Opens at Home vs. Duquesne, Cleveland State

TOLEDO, OH – Toledo will host Duquesne on Friday Jan. 27 at 4:00 p.m. in its first home weekend. UT's match will follow the men's match against the Dukes at 1:00 p.m. The Rockets will also face Cleveland State on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 3:00 p.m.

Friday's match vs. Duquesne will be held at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Maumee, while Saturday's contest vs. the Vikings will be held at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club on Central Ave.

"The team is excited to play at home after being on the road the past two weekends," said head coach Tracy Mauntler. "This group is very determined and I've been impressed with their work ethic in practice this week."

UT (1-2) recorded its first victory of the season last Sunday in the form of a 6-1 defeat over Chicago State. Junior Sidnay Huck and freshman Dee Dee Leenabanchong paired up to win their third-consecutive victory at No. 1 doubles.
