Youngstown, OH – Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the Toledo (5-23-1, 1-2 MAC) baseball game with Youngstown State on Wednesday, April 5 has been moved up to 3:00 p.m.

Head coach Cory Mee expects sophomore LHP Alex Wagner (0-1, 7.25 ERA) to pitch for the Rockets on Wednesday. Wagner struck out a career-high six batters at Ohio State on Feb. 21 earlier this season out of the bullpen. Throwing for the Penguins will be Collin Floyd (1-4, 9.78 ERA).

Last weekend, the Rockets took one-of-three from archrival Bowling Green. Junior LHP Steven Calhoun picked up his second win of the season after throwing 5.0 innings while allowing just one earned run with four strikeouts. Freshman LHP Michael Jacob picked up his fourth save of the season after throwing 2.1 frames and only allowing two hits.

Leading the way offensively was senior INF/OF John Martillotta after going 2-for-4 with one walk, one run and one RBI. Freshman INF Riley Campbell went 1-for-3 with an RBI and two walks, and sophomore CF AJ Montoya picked up one RBI on a bases-loaded walk.

Mee is 4-6 all-time against the Penguins. The Rockets last win came on March 17, 2015 in a 2-1 victory at Scott Park.

UT will be back in action on Friday, April 8 at 6:00 p.m. to begin a three-game series at Kent State.Â
