Rockets Prepare for 2016 MAC Championships

TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo women's tennis team will look to end its season on a high note when it travels to Oxford, OH for the 2016 Mid-American Conference Championships this weekend hosted by Miami.
The No. 6 seed Rockets will take on No. 3 Western Michigan in the weekend's second match on Friday, April 29 at 2:00 p.m. at MU's Hepburn Varsity Tennis Courts.
"We are excited to get a rematch against WMU at the MAC tourney. Its what we've been preparing for since August," said head coach Tracy Mauntler
Toledo (9-12, 3-5 MAC) enters this weekend's tournament after having lost its last conference outing to No. 1 seeded Ball State, 6-1.
With a victory on Friday, the Midnight Blue & Gold would take on No. 2 seed and back-to-back MAC Champion Miami the following day, who defeated the Rockets 6-1 back on April 3.
