TOLEDO, OH – The Rockets will travel to Muncie, IN on April 22 for their second match-up against Ball State before returning home on April 23 to host Western Michigan in their last game of the season. Toledo will face the Cardinals in a 2:30 p.m. match. UT will play the Broncos at 2:00 p.m. at the UT Outdoor Tennis Courts.
Â
The Rockets dropped a 4-3 decision to Ball State on March 18 and look to capture a win in their rematch on Friday. UT has not faced the Broncos yet this season and fell 7-0 to WMU last season.
Â
"This team has been a lot of fun to coach and they all have so much potential," said head coach Al Wermer. "We've been so close in these conference matches but have come short. But the guys have stuck together well, and their focus and attitude remain very positive."
Â
Saturday's home match vs. Western Michigan will also be fan-appreciation day, proudly sponsored by City Barbeque. There will be food provided for all fans and prizes will be handed out throughout the match.
