BUFFALO, N.Y. - Toledo was kept off the scoreboard in a 1-0 loss to Buffalo on Sunday afternoon at UB Stadium. The loss drops the Rockets to 6-5-1 on the season and 1-2-1 in the Mid-American Conference.

The Bulls (5-5-2, 2-2-0 MAC) scored the lone goal of the match in the 48th minute when Celina Carero found Moira Petrie for a 20-yard goal-scoring strike.

Sophomore goalkeeper Katie Wilson made six saves, four in the opening half, to keep the match scoreless at the halfway point. 

Junior Isa Echeverri took two shots to lead the Rockets, who could only muster five shots compared to 11 shots for Buffalo. 

Toledo, who averages over four corner kicks per game, did not take a single corner kick during the match.

The Rockets return to action on Thursday, Oct. 6 when they entertain Central Michigan at 4:05 p.m. at Scott Park.
