Toledo Finishes 14th in Pre-National White 8k

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Dismas Koech and Titus Koech finished in 35th and 42nd place, respectively, to lead the Toledo men's cross country team to a 14th place showing in the Pre-National White 8k at LaVern Gibson XC Course.

Dismas Koech finished the course in 25:46.8 while Titus Koech also broke the 26 minute mark with a time of 25:53.6.

Stalline Kurgat was the third Rocket to finish, crossing the line in 70th place in a time of 26:20.3.

Alberto Chelimo ran to an 87th place finish and Louis Guardiola placed 91st to round out the scoring for the Midnight Blue and Gold.

Caleb Morehart and Josh Oeters also represented the Rockets in the 20-team event.

The cross country teams finish their regular season schedules at the Eastern Michigan Fall Classic on Friday, Oct. 21.
