Max Matolin paces men’s team while Alex Bauer and Margrett Watt lead women’s squad
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's and women's cross country team had 10 total student-athletes named to the Academic All-MAC team for the 2025 season, the league office announced on Friday.
Max Matolin led the men's squad, posting a 3.963 GPA as an economics and middle eastern studies major. Matolin, Alex Martinez and Peter McMahon all earned their second Academic All-MAC honors.
The women's team was led by graduate students Alex Bauer and Margrett Watt with 4.00 GPAs. Bauer and Karina James earned their second consecutive nods to the Academic All-MAC team. Jaydon Cirincione, Bella Earl, Bailey Ranta, Watt and Lauren Zanotelli are all first-time honorees.
