Wistinghausen Leads Toledo in EMU Fall Classic

Toledo, OH – Sophomore Jacob Wistinghausen led the Toledo men's cross country team with a 27th place finish at the Eastern Michigan Fall Classic this past weekend. Wistinghausen was the top runner for the Midnight Blue and Gold, finishing the 5k course in of 16:09.5.
Sophomore Josh Oeters placed 37th overall with a time of 16:30.6 and was closely followed by senior Thomas Gibbons, crossing the finish line in 39th place with a time of 16:31.6.
Sophomore Brian Stubelt ran a career-best 5k time of 16:35.3 which was good for 41st overall. Junior Jax Talbot finished closely behind in 51st with a time of 16:46.8.
Also competing for Toledo were freshmen Aiden Gallagher and Jesse Privett, sophomore Matthew Gibbons and junior Clinton Caddell.
This was the final meet before the Rockets compete in the Mid-American Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 11:00 a.m.
