Toledo in 15th Place Following Round 2 of Golfweek Conference Challenge

WOLCOTT, CO – Toledo is in 15th place following Tuesday's second round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge. The Rockets tallied a team score of 317 (29-over par) and are at 52-over par 628 over 36 holes on the par-72, 6,261-yard Fazio Course of the Red Sky Golf Club.

Freshman Pimchanok Kawil posted UT's lowest round of the day with a four-over par 76 and is tied for 53rd place at 13-over par 157 (81-76). She stood at even-par with four holes to play but finished her round with triple bogey-par-bogey-par.

Senior Sathika Ruenreong possesses the Rockets' best individual standing as she is in a 38th-place tie at 10-over par 154 (75-79). The remainder of Toledo's lineup consists of senior Manisa Isavas (77-81=158/T-59th), senior Morgan Salm (79-81=160/T-66th) and sophomore Napaphan Phongpaiboon (80-84/T-76th).

San Diego State moved to the top of the leaderboard today by carding a two-under par 286 and is just four-over par through the first two rounds. Denver shot the second-best team score of the day with a two-over par 290 and is in second place at 10-over par 586. First-round leader TCU is two strokes behind the Pioneers at 12-over par 588 (289-299). The Aztecs' Emma Henriksen sits atop the individual rankings at five-under par 139 (72-67), five in front of Long Beach State's Savannah Knox (71-73=144).

Tomorrow's final round will begin with an 8:30 a.m. MDT shotgun start.
