
Toledo Sits in Fourth Place at MAC Championships Following the Opening 36 Holes

CHARDON, OH – Toledo sits in fourth place at 13-over par 589 following the first two rounds of the 2015 Mid-American Conference Championships on Friday at the par-72, 7,245-yard Mayfield Sand Ridge Club – Sand Ridge.
Senior Chris Selfridge tops the Rockets with a one-under par 143 (74-69) and sits in a two-way tie for second place in the individual standings. Selfridge was credited with a team-high eight birdies over the course of the opening 36 holes and trails overall leader Ball State's McCormick Clouser (70-70) by three shots.
Freshman Stephen Watts also had a good first day for UT and is tied for ninth place with a two-over par 146 (73-73). The Midnight Blue & Gold are one of five teams to have at least two players in the Top 10.
Senior Pat Cermark is tied for 22nd place at seven-over par 151 (73-78), while freshman Colin Joseph (76-77) and junior Otto Black (79-74) are tied for 28th place at nine-over par 153.
Miami is atop the team leaderboard after carding an even-par 576 (287-289), eight strokes ahead of Eastern Michigan (290-294) and nine in front of Ball State (298-287).
The third round will be held on Saturday with the Rockets' teeing off with Kent State and Ohio beginning at 11:50 a.m.
