NOBLESVILLE, IN - Toledo won its second tournament title in less than a week with a 10-stroke victory at the Fall MAC Preview. The Rockets shot a 33-over par 897 (302-297-298) at the par-72, 6,275-yard Purgatory Golf Club, the site of the 2016 Mid-American Conference Championship.
 
     UT finished with a team score under 900 for a second-straight tourney and were led by senior Morgan Salm's six-over par 222 (76-74-72). Salm was just one stroke away from earning at least a share of medalist honors for the second-straight week. Akron's Frida Fougberg was first at five-over par 221 (69-72-80) after entering the final round at three-under par.
 
     Salm was joined in the Top 10 by classmates Sathika Ruenreong (8th/74-75-76=225) and Manisa Isavas (T-9th/76-77-73=226). Salm and Isavas paced the Rockets today with rounds of even and one-over par.
 
     Freshman Pimchanok Kawil (76-76-77=230) and Natcha Daengpiem (77-72-85=232) rounded out the Rockets' lineup by tying for 15th and 31st place, respectively. Freshman Caitriona Griffin led all individuals competing in the tourney, finishing tied with Daengpiem for 31st place at 234 (75-78-81).
 
     Toledo is now idle until heading to Lakewood Ranch, FL for the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational on Sunday-Tuesday, Oct. 25-27.
