NOBLESVILLE, IN - Toledo is tied for second place and just one stroke out of the lead following the first day of the Fall Preview at the par-72, 6,275-yard Purgatory Golf Club. The tournament is being held at the site of the 2016 Mid-American Conference Championship with nine conference schools participating.

Eastern Michigan is in first place at 22-over par 598, while the Rockets are tied with Akron at 23-over par 599. The Zips' Frida Fougberg is pacing the field with a three-under par 141 (69-72) for a five-stroke advantage.

Senior Sathika Ruenreong (74-75) and freshman Natcha Daengpiem (77-72) are leading a balanced Toledo lineup at five-over par 149. Senior Morgan Salm is one stroke behind and tied for 10^th place at six-over par 150 (76-74).

Freshman Pimchanok Kawil carded a pair of four-over par 76's and is tied for 18^th place, while senior Manisa Isavas is tied for 23^rd place at nine-over 153.

Freshman Caitriona Griffin is competing as an individual and also tied for 23^rd place at nine-over 153. She is leading all indiviudals competing in the tourney.

The Rockets return to the course on Monday, Oct. 12, for the final round of play. Shotgun start is set for 9 a.m. Fans can follow all the action live on golfstatresults.com.
