WEST LAFAYETTE, IN – Sophomore Otto Black carded a team-best even-par 72 on Sunday as Toledo registered a 14^th-place finish at the Boilermaker Invitational.

Black (79-71-72) tied for 26^th place in the individual standings at six-over par 222 along with classmate Thomas Shindler (71-77-74). Junior Nate Gonring tied for 52^nd place at 12-over par 228 (75-76-77).

Rounding out the Rockets' lineup were junior Jamie Richardson (78^th/79-82-78=239) and sophomore Bobby Thomas (T-79^th/82-84-76=242).

Iowa came from 10 strokes back entering the final round to win the team title. The Hawkeyes (300-291-274=865) carded an impressive 14-under par 274 in their final round to edge No. 9 Illinois (291-290-285=866) by one stroke.

Iowa's Steven Ihm captured medalist honors at seven-under par 209 (72-73-64).

Toledo will begin play tomorrow at Ball State's Earl Yestingsmeier Memorial Invitational in Muncie, IN.
