
Rockets in Third Following One Round of UK Bluegrass Invitational

LEXINGTON, KY - Toledo sat in a third-place tie after posting an 18-hole team score of seven-over par 291 in the opening round of play in the UK Bluegrass Invitational on Saturday at the University Club of Kentucky.
Play was suspended halfway through the second round due to darkness after a two-hour rain delay stopped play in the middle of the opening round. Teams and individuals will resume the second round Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. ET with a shotgun start, before continuing play into the final round. No scores from the second round were collected or turned in until after completion Sunday morning.
Spearheading the Rockets' efforts were the trio of senior Ben Boyer, senior Jean-Hubert Trahan and junior Michael Cermak. They each carded a one-over par 72 and are tied for ninth place. Freshman Oliver Holtsberry is tied for 35th place at four-over par 75 with junior Dugan Murphy tied for 74th place at nine-over par 80. Junior Matt Fuller is competing as an individual and in 95th place at 16-over par 87.
Auburn led the 18-team field after the first round with a three-over par 287 with the host Wildcats three strokes behind. The Tigers' Dominic Bozzelli is atop the player leaderboard with a first-round score of four-under par 67
