Rockets Tie For Fourth Place at UK Bluegrass Invitational

LEXINGTON, KY - Toledo tied for fourth place out of 18teams on Sunday with a team score of 892 at the UK Bluegrass Invitational. The tournament was held at the University Club of Kentucky.

Senior Jean-Hubert Trahan topped the Rockets on the individual leaderboard, tying for 12^th place with a six-over par 219 (72-75-72). Senior Ben Boyer was one stroke behind Trahan tied for 16^th place at seven-over par 220 (72-75-73), while junior Michael Cermak tied for 30^th place at 12-over par 225 (72-70-83).

Rounding out the UT lineup was freshman Oliver Holtsberry tied for 61^st place at 19-over par 232 (75-79-78) and junior Dugan Murphy tied for 78^th place at 25-over par 238 (80-78-80). Junior Matt Fuller competed as an individual and tied for 91^st place at 32-over par 245 (87-80-78).

Auburn captured the tournament title with a 16-over par 868, eight strokes ahead of the host Wildcats. Dayton's Chris Woeste earned medalist honors with an even-par 213 (73-73-67), two strokes ahead of a threesome tied for second place.

Toledo will now be idle until competing in the Mid-American Conference Championship in Mason, OH on April 29-May 1.
