Senior OH TaNeisha Winters led the way for UT offensively with 11 kills, while sophomore MB Lyndsey Holt connected for a career-high nine terminations and an impressive .667 attack percentage. Junior Lori Ruth led the Rockets' defensive efforts with 11 digs. EMU utilized a balanced attack on its way to a .345 team hitting percentage. Three Eagles posted double-digit kill totals led by seniors Abby and Becky Reenders with 11 apiece. Senior Katie Bates also tallied 10 kills and a team-high .526 ATK%. Senior setter Kate Sulewski made her presence felt at the net with a team-high seven blocks, while sophomore libero Kim Jarzynka collected a match-high 16 digs. Eastern Michigan started out the match quickly by jumping out to a 7-1 advantage in the first game and the closest the Rockets could get the rest of the way was within 9-5. The Eagles registered a .227 hitting mark in the game and limited UT to a .043 ATK%. Becky Reenders led EMU with four kills, while Winters matched her for UT with a team-best four terminations. The Rockets will close out their 2007 home campaign tomorrow afternoon with a 3:00 p.m. matchup vs.
