Rockets to host camps on July 8-9 and July 13-16 in Savage Arena
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball program will be holding multiple camps and clinics for all levels this summer in Savage Arena. Participants will be able to train and work alongside Toledo's MAC Championship players and coaches.
"Our student-athletes and staff are excited to welcome campers to Toledo and to Savage Arena again this summer," said head coach Brian Wright. "I am so confident in our players and staff's ability to be high-level coaches and role models. Whether you're brand new to volleyball, looking to be a future Rocket or anything in between, I'm confident we can provide an amazing experience and training environment filled with smiles, fun, hard work and learning. We look forward to seeing you this summer!"
The Rockets' Skills Clinics will be held from July 8-9 with the Junior Rocket Camp and Rocket Youth Camp from July 13-15. The Rocket Experience Elite Camp will take place on July 15-16.
Toledo's Skills Clinics will be open to players in grades 6-12 and will offer specialized training in four areas:
The Junior Rocket Camp (Ages 4-8) and Rocket Youth Camp (Grades 4-8) will run from 9:00-11:30 a.m. each day. Campers who sign up to attend either of these camps will also receive a Toledo Volleyball T-shirt with their registration.
Ever wonder what it's like to be a Toledo Volleyball student-athlete? Join our coaching staff and student-athletes for the Rocket Experience Camp! Open to players entering grades 8-12, this elite camp will have two training sessions on July 15 and a final session on July 16. Campers will experience both positional and team training just like Rocket student-athletes, while also experiencing unique elements of the program.
For more information and to register for camps, please visit volleyball.toledocamps.com. UT Volleyball will also be offering satellite camps in which Toledo coaches and student-athletes will travel to local school districts to host a camp. Those interested in learning more can contact assistant coach Jordan Armstrong (jordan.armstrong@utoledo.edu). Satellite camps can be scheduled for middle school and high school teams.
