• Toledo saw its eight-game home win streak snapped and it was also the Rockets' first loss to Miami in Savage Hall since 1997.

• Miami now leads the all-time series vs. UT by a 62-48 margin and is one of two MAC schools to have a winning record vs. the Rockets.

• The Rockets registered season highs for 3PTFG made (10) and 3PTFG attempted (28).

• Toledo's bench outscored Miami's reserves by a 14-7 margin giving UT an advantage over its opponents in all but two games this season.

• The Rockets' 35.7 FG% was just the fourth time this season UT has shot under 40 percent.

• Miami's 56.1 FG% was a season high by a Rocket opponent this season and was just the fifth time this year a team has shot over 50 percent vs. UT.

• The Rockets' six steals matched a season low previously established vs. Wright State (Nov. 27).

• Senior guard Keith Triplett registered 14 points to move into fourth place on the Rockets' all-time scoring list ahead of Steve Mix (1966-69).

• Sophomore guard Justin Ingram led the Rockets with five rebounds and has led or shared the team lead in rebounding a team-high six times this season. He is leading UT with 4.6 rpg in conference games.

• Junior guard Sammy Villegas scored a season-high 20 points and also equalled a season best with four three-point field goals.
