* Toledo snapped a five-game losing streak against the Golden Flashes and was UT's first victory over KSU since the 1999-2000 campaign. UT now leads the all-time series by a 76-37 margin for its largest advantage against any opponent.

* UT is now 5-0 at home this season and has won 17 of its last 18 contests at Savage Hall. Toledo is 89-23 (.795) at Savage Hall in nine seasons under Head Coach Stan Joplin.

* The Rockets outrebounded KSU by a 37-29 margin for its largest advantage in any MAC contest this season. It was just the fourth time UT has outrebounded an opponent this year.

* Toledo registered 22 assists and 12 turnovers in the contest and all nine Rockets registered at least one assist.

* Sophomore forward Florentino Valencia led the Rockets with 14 points and has scored in double digits in three of his last four games.

* Junior forward Anton Currie and senior forward Kareem Milson led the Rockets with six rebounds apiece with Milson's total equaling a season high.

* Freshman guard Kashif Payne tallied a season-high 10 points to go along with four assists and two steals in 26 minutes.

* Senior guard Keith Triplett moved into sole possession of third place on the MAC's all-time steal list with three thefts. He now has 252 career steals and trails only Ball State's Bonzi Wells (1994-98 - 347) and Miami's Ron Harper (1983-86 - 287).
