Senior LF Shawn Hurst accounted for the Rockets' first run with a RBI double in the fifth.
In the sixth, senior RF Aaron Rouser hit a two-run homer to bring the Rockets within 4-3.
But CMU answered back with a single tally in the seventh, two in the eighth and one more in the ninth to secure the win.
