Four honorees have earned multiple Academic All-MAC picks
TOLEDO, Ohio – Five student-athletes from the Toledo baseball program were named to the Academic All-MAC Team, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Redshirt junior Ryan Hughes earned his third selection to the Academic All-MAC Team, redshirt junior Troy Sudbrook, junior Charlie Scholvin and senior Nathan Leininger earned their second selections and junior JP Wagner took his first career honor.
Â
Leininger, Scholvin and Sudbrook were previously named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team and advanced to the Academic All-America ballot.

To qualify, players must have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA with at least a sophomore academic standing and play in at least 50% of a team's games. Transfers in their first year at their respective institution are not eligible for the award.

Toledo earned a team record 3.56 semester GPA in the fall semester and a 3.55 in the spring.
