Team Notes:

* Toledo's win over Michigan State was the Rockets' second over a ranked team under Head Coach Stan Joplin. The first came with a 69-66 victory over No. 18 Cincinnati at the 2000 Rock-N-Roll Shootout at Gund Arena.

* Stan Joplin now holds a 2-4 mark at Toledo vs. teams from the Big Ten. His first win came over Ohio State at home in the 1998-99 campaign.

* The Rockets have connected on nine or more three-point field goals in seven straight games and are shooting 49.4 percent (80-of-162) from behind the arc in that stretch.

Individual Notes:

* Junior guard Keith Triplett hauled down a season-high eight rebounds to go along with his 17 points. Triplett was 9-of-10 from the charity stripe including five free throws in the final minute to raise his season mark to 78.9 percent. He leads the team in scoring (16.4), free throws made (45), free throws attempted (57) and steals (1.8).

* Senior guard Nick Moore's 19 points equalled his second-highest point total of the season. His top performance was a 25-point showing at Youngstown State.

* Redshirt freshman guard Sammy Villegas equalled a season-high with five assists and committed just one turnover in addition to scoring 11 points. He has made three or more three-point field goals in five straight games and has scored in double figures in six of the Rockets' last seven contests.

* Sophomore guard Jim Clement is averaging 10.5 points per game and shooting 71.4 percent (5-of-7) from three-point range in the Rockets last two contests.

* Sophomore forward Kareem Milson played a career-high 27 minutes and tallied a season-high eight points on three-of-three shooting from the field and two-of-two shooting from the charity stripe.
