LOUISVILLE, KY - Toledo (5-8) won its second straight game today with a 9-4 victory over Spalding University.
After taking a 2-1 lead in the fourth inning, the Rockets exploded for six runs in the fifth.
Sophomore SS J.D. Foust led the Rockets' attack with a 3-for-5, three-RBI effort.
Freshman Raul Lopez (1-0) earned the victory with three innings in relief of fresmhman starting pitcher E.T. Ducey.
The Rockets begin a four-game series at Xavier in Cincinnati, OH on Friday, March 16. The teams will play a single game on Friday, a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday.
