Sophomore Pawit Sornlaksup is Toledo's Male Athlete of the Week after contributing to three Rockets' victories over UNOH (Feb. 23), IUPUI (Feb. 25) and Dayton (Feb. 27) last week. Sornlaksup was perfect on the No. 1 court, going 3-0 in singles competition and 3-0 in doubles competition with Marko Galic.
Sornlaksup defeated Sergio Conde (UNOH), Colton Morehart (IUPUI), and Connor Bruce (Dayton) all in two sets. Sornlaksup has won his last eight singles matches.
Sornlaksup and Galic defeated Makil Omarkhanov/ Martin Stanchev of UNOH 4-3 (unfinished), Nicholas Moody/ Emil Jankowski of IUPUI 6-2, and Joe and Matt DeMarco of Dayton 6-0.
