Women's Soccer returns to road action this week with a matchup at Oakland on Thursday. The match will begin at 2:30 p.m. from Rochester, Mich. Toledo (2-1) is coming off two victories last week. The Rockets captured a dramatic 1-0 victory at Detroit Mercy on Thursday with a goal in the final seconds by Ella Zoerhoff. In Sunday's home opener, Zoerhoff struck for a hat trick in the first half. Sadie Walsh added her first two collegiate goals and McKenna Schultz slotted home the final tally in a 6-2 triumph over Mercyhurst. The Rockets have posted 1-0 victories over the Golden Grizzlies each of the last two seasons.

Volleyball kicks off the 2026 season with the Rocket Invitational Presented by Delta Hotels by Marriot on Friday-Saturday, Aug. 28-29 at Savage Arena. The squad features 12 returners from the 2025 Mid-American Conference Tournament Champion team, five transfers and three freshmen. The Rockets are set to take on Bradley, Binghamton and Oakland in the first action of the season. Friday night will be Love Island Night, while Saturday's match against Oakland will be the first Glass City match of the season. The first 300 fans in attendance on Saturday night will receive a free Glass City t-shirt. Tickets to the tournament can be purchased here.
