Baseball returns to Scott Park for a Tuesday contest against Oakland and a key Mid-American Conference weekend series against Ball State. The Ball State series will air on BCSN and stream on ESPN+. Toledo (20-24, 15-9 MAC) is tied for fourth place in the MAC standings and is within 2.0 games of first place. The Rockets went 3-2 in a five-game week last week. The Rockets crushed Youngstown State, 21-0 on the road on Wednesday. Toledo then won Saturday's and Sunday's games to take the Battle of I-75 series against Bowling Green. Hayden Frey turned in a spectacular pitching performance on Saturday, with a one-hitter in eight innings in the Rockets' 3-1 win. In Sunday's rubber match, the Rockets rallied from an early 4-0 deficit for a 6-4 victory, with Liam Arsich supplying the game-winning two-run single with two outs in the ninth inning.Â

Softball hits the road for its final series of the regular season against Northern Illinois in DeKalb, Ill. Last weekend, the Rockets concluded the series against Buffalo with a 3-2 win at Scott Park. Sophomore Audrey Miller paced the offense last week, tallying a .444 mark at the plate with four total hits, including two doubles. Samantha Bolding continues to lead UT with a .362 batting average throughout the season while Eli Enriquez has a team-best 57 hits and 38 runs scored.

Track & Field continues outdoor competition with a pair of meets this weekend, the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J. and the Jesse Owens Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. Last week, the Rockets competed at the Penn Relays and were led by Hannah Ielfield who placed sixth in the 10,000m with a personal best time. On the men's side, Sibonelo Khumalo took seventh in the 10,000m with a personal best mark of 29:46.34 while Max Matolin crossed the finish line at 8:55.91 in the 3000m steeplechase.
WOMEN'S ROWING
Saturday, May 2 / at Duquesne / Pittsburgh, Pa. / 9:00 a.m.
Rowing heads to Pittsburgh, Pa. for another spring competition against Duquesne on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. The Rockets saw action in the Ford Lake Cup in Ypsilanti, Mich. last week, competing in the varsity 8+ race. The first crew earned a time of 7:09.06 while the second team came in at 8:41.6.
MEN'S GOLF
Sunday-Tuesday, May 3-5 / Mid-American Conference Championships / Zionsville, Ind.
Men's Golf will travel to Zionsville, Ind. this weekend for the 2026 MAC Championships to be hosted by Central Michigan University. The 54-hole tournament will include nine schools and be played at the Holliday Farms Golf Club on Sunday-Tuesday, May 3-5. The winning team will qualify for NCAA Regionals action on May 18-20. Senior Bence Kotel is leading the Rockets with a 72.8 stroke average with sophomore Bence Bertenyi ranking second with a 73.1 mark.
