Toledo will begin second round tomorrow at 10:02 a.m.
ATHENS, Ga. – Freshman Alice Tonts paced the Toledo women's golf team with a five-over par 77 in Saturday's opening round of Georgia's Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic. The Rockets are in 15th place in the tournament being played at the par-72, 6,217-yard University of Georgia Golf Course.
Tonts registered pars on 10 of her first 11 holes and led Toledo with 14 pars today.
High Point is leading the 16-team field at two-over par, three shots in front of host Georgia. The Bulldogs' Trinity Beth shot a six-under par 66 to lead all individuals.
The Rockets will begin play in tomorrow's second round with a 10:02 a.m. tee time. The final round of the tournament will be held on Monday.
