Eliza Maloney and Audrey Miller crush home runs on Friday afternoon
FARMVILLE, Va. – The Toledo softball team fell to Longwood on the opening day of the Longwood Invitational in Farmville, Va., 5-4 on Friday afternoon.
Audrey Miller led the offense, tallying two RBIs on two hits including her third home run of the season. Senior infielder Eli Enriquez recorded her third-straight multi-hit game against the Lancers, chipping in an RBI and a run.
Junior outfielder Eliza Maloney tallied her first home run of the season, blasting a solo shot to put UT on the board in the second inning.
Freshman Lexi Johnson earned her third start of the season in the circle while junior Mady Yackee appeared in relief, tossing five innings.

Toledo continues play at the Longwood Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14. The Rockets will take on Longwood at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude the day against No. 24 Virginia at 3:30 p.m.
