ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Freshman Harper Brightly moved into the Rockets' all-time top-10 list in the 600m to lead the Toledo women's track and field team in its competition at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Saturday.
Brightly recorded a final time of 1:36.38 in the 600m, good for seventh overall, and marked the third-fastest time in program history. Freshman Eva Moran also broke into the all-time top-10 list, recording a final mark of 3.55m in the pole vault and tying the seventh-best mark in school history.
Freshman Bralynne Dunn earned a fourth-place finish in the 200m with a mark of 25.58 and took fifth overall in the 60m with a final time of 7.80.
In the mile, Gabby Phelan led the way as five Rockets placed within the top-12 finishers. Phelan took fourth overall with a time of 4:52.93 and was followed by Bailey Ranta in fifth with a personal-best time of 4:54.66. Jaydon Cirincione (8th/5:00.65) and Margrett Watt (10th/5:07.38) rounded out UT's top-10 finishers in the event.
Phelan also earned a fifth-place finish in the 800m (2:15.62) while freshman Noelle Hunt finished within the top-10 in the long jump, taking eighth (5.52m).
