Makenna Englund leads team with 4.0 GPA

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's track and field program recorded a 3.344 team grade point average during the 2025 spring semester.

Makenna Englund led the Rockets with a spot on the President's List with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Izabella Frankart, Nora Hark and Hailey Slagle all earned a nod to the Dean's List with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

The athletic department recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.370 during the spring semester, the Rockets' third-highest GPA ever for a spring semester. Toledo student-athletes have now recorded a GPA of 3.3 or higher in each of the past 12 semesters.

Other highlights from this past semester include:

62 student-athletes (17%) earned President's List honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
198 student-athletes (54%) earned a spot on the Dean's List with at least a 3.50 GPA.
283 out of 264 (77%) total student-athletes made the honor roll by securing a 3.00 GPA or higher.
