Bauer owns ninth-fastest 800m time in program history
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo graduate student Alex Bauer has been named the Mid-American Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced today.
Bauer brings home the honor after placing third in the 800m at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational hosted by the University of Cincinnati last weekend. She tallied a final time of 2:10.75 to earn a top-three finish and move into ninth in the all-time program rankings while also ranking ninth overall in the MAC this season.
Bauer is currently pursuing her master's degree in counselor education and owns a 4.00 cumulative grade point average. Â
