Toledo Men’s Golf Posts 3.705 GPA in Spring Semester

TOLEDO, Ohio – Seven individuals from the University of Toledo men's golf program registered a 3.50 grade-point average or higher in the 2025 spring semester to help the Rockets post a 3.705 team GPA. It marked the sixth straight semester the program has posted a 3.700 team GPA or higher.

Since Head Coach Jeff Roope took over the program, the Rockets have registered a 3.450 GPA or higher in 16 straight semesters. Highlighting UT's academic prowess prior to this semester was a program-record 3.819 GPA ln the 2022 fall semester.

The athletic department as a whole earned a GPA of 3.370 GPA in the spring semester, the Rockets' third-highest GPA ever for a spring semester. Toledo student-athletes have now recorded a GPA of 3.3 or higher in each of the past 12 semesters.

Other highlights from this past semester include:

62 student-athletes (17%) earned President's List honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
198 student-athletes (54%) earned a spot on the Dean's List by garnering at least a 3.50 GPA.
283 out of 364 (77%) total student-athletes made the Honor Roll by securing a 3.00 GPA or higher.
