YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Toledo baseball team fell to a late offensive surge from Eastern Michigan, as the Eagles took a 13-7 decision at Oestrike Stadium on Saturday.
Â
The Rockets (12-21, 6-11 MAC) built up three separate three-run leads, the last at 7-4 in the sixth inning, but the Eagles (14-16, 9-8 MAC) scored nine runs across the final three inning to even the weekend series.

Quoting Head Coach Rob Reinstetle
"That was a tough game to lose. We came out playing strong baseball. The bats produced and had some big hits, but we couldn't put them away on the mound. We've been so good on the mound all year, I have no doubt we'll bounce back and play well tomorrow."
