Toledo to Compete at Notre Dame's Clover Cup in Arizona Next Week

Rockets to play 18 holes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo women's golf team will return to action early next week when it travels to Arizona for Notre Dame's Clover Cup. The three-day tournament will be held on Monday-Wednesday, March 10-12 at the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz. Tee times will begin at 7:16 a.m. MT each day of competition.

THE FIELD
The Rockets will be competing against a 12-team field that includes Arizona State, Clemson, Colorado State, Indiana, Kennesaw State, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois, Texas A&M, Texas San Antonio, UNC Wilmington and the host Fighting Irish.
Arizona State is ranked No. 8 nationally in the Scoreboard clippd.com rankings, with No. 16 Texas A&M and No. 43 Clemson also in the Top 50.
LAST TIME OUT
Toledo finished in ninth place at Abilene Christian's West Texas Classic earlier this week. The tournament was shortened to 36 holes due to high winds during the final round. Redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano (75-80) and senior Kyleigh Dull (80-75) tied for 27th place at 15-over par 155 to lead the Rockets.

Toledo's lineup includes redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano at No. 1, senior Kyleigh Dull at No. 2, senior Yedam Lee at No. 3, freshman Brooklyn Millard at No. 4, and freshman Emily Young at No. 5.
