Freshman registers her third Top 20 showing of season

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – Freshman Brooklyn Millard tied for 15^th place to lead the Toledo women's golf team to a 10^th-place finish on Wednesday at Notre Dame's Clover Cup. The tournament was played at the par-70, 5,860-yard Wigwam Golf Club.

Millard carded a 73 in today's final round and finished the 54-hole event with a three-over par 213 to notch her third Top 20 finish of the season. She tied for 10^th place in the tournament by tallying a team-high 11 birdies.

Senior Yedam Lee carded a four-over par 74 today, while senior Kyleigh Dull and redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano each registered six-over par 76s.

No. 8 Arizona State captured the tournament title at 13-under par, four shots in front of No. 43 Clemson. No. 16 Texas A&M finished in third place at one-under par.

Toledo will return to action on Monday-Tuesday, March 31-April 1 when it travels to St. Augustine, Fla. for Furman's Coach Mo Classic.
