Toledo Heads to Florida to Take on Davenport

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team will hit the road to take on Davenport (Mich.) on Wednesday, Feb. 26 in Orlando, Fla. First serve between the Rockets and the Panthers is set for 1:00 p.m. from the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus.

ABOUT THE ROCKETS
Toledo (5-4) has won its last three matches, including a 4-3 win over Cleveland State and 4-0 decision over Eastern Illinois on Saturday. Poonthong Komolpisut went undefeated in singles play and clinched the match win over Cleveland State with a three-set tiebreaker on the No. 2 court.

Matias Olivero and Charlie Snow were named Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week for going 2-0 on the No. 2 court to help grab the doubles points against Cleveland State and Eastern Illinois.

ABOUT DAVENPORT
Davenport sits at 9-0 on the season, most recently defeating the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras in Orlando, Fla. This will be the first-ever meeting between the Rockets and the Panthers.
