Rockets Set to Take on Cleveland State and Eastern Illinois

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team will host Cleveland State and Eastern Illinois on Saturday in its second-consecutive weekend at home. The Rockets and Vikings will begin at 1:00 p.m. and UT will conclude the day against Eastern Illinois at 7:00 p.m. at Shadow Valley Tennis Club.

ABOUT THE ROCKETS
Toledo (3-4) is coming off a 5-2 win over Northwestern Ohio last Saturday. The Rockets won five of the six singles courts while Hanamichi Carvajal clinched the win on the No. 1 singles court.

ABOUT CLEVELAND STATE
Cleveland State has won its last three matches over Xavier, Ball State and Findlay to move its overall record to 3-5. The Vikings and Rockets last met on Feb. 9, 2024 as Toledo fell 4-3 at Shadow Valley.

ABOUT EASTERN ILLINIOS
Eastern Illinois enters the match with a 2-10 record, most recently falling to Oregon 7-0. The Panthers and Rockets have not met since Feb. 22, 2015 when Toledo grabbed a 4-3 victory in Charleston, Ill.
