Toledo Unveils 2026 Schedule

Rockets to open season in Tempe, Ariz.; begin MAC play at Scott Park on March 13
TOLEDO, Ohio – University of Toledo Softball Head Coach Jessica Bracamonte announced the Rockets' 2026 schedule on Tuesday. The schedule features 24 non-conference games, 24 Mid-American Conference matchups and four home series at Scott Park.
The Rockets will take on five teams that competed in the 2025 NCAA Softball Championship, including Arizona State, Liberty, Miami (Ohio), Northwestern and Virginia.
Toledo opens the 2026 season at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz. from Feb. 5-7, taking on Arizona State, Memphis, Northwestern and Texas State. UT will then head to the Longwood Lancer Tournament in Farmville, Va. on Feb. 13-15 to face Longwood, Quinnipiac and Virginia before going to the Liberty Softball Classic in Lynchburg, Va. from Feb. 20-22 to take on Liberty, Maryland and Syracuse.
Toledo also travels to North Carolina to wrap up the non-conference tournament slate. The Rockets will head to the Wolfpack Classic in Raleigh, N.C. on Feb. 27-March 1, competing against Lehigh, Loyola Chicago and NC State. The Midnight Blue & Gold will conclude tournament play at the UNCW Softball Tournament in Wilmington, N.C. on March 6-7 where they will face off against Army, UNC Greensboro and UNC Wilmington. The final non-conference matchup will take place against Michigan on Tuesday, April 21 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
MAC play kicks off at Scott Park on Friday, March 13 with a three-game series against Ohio. Toledo will also host Ball State (March 27-28), Miami (April 11-12) and Buffalo (April 24-25).
Road series during conference play consist of UMass (March 20-21), Akron (April 3-4), Bowling Green (April 7-8), Western Michigan (April 17-18) and Northern Illinois (May 1-2).
The 2026 MAC Softball Championship is set for May 6-9 at Firestone Stadium in Akron, Ohio. The winner of the conference tournament will earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
