Toledo picks up 7-6 win in nine innings in game two
In the victory, Jenna Bloomfield went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the offense. Samantha Bolding crushed her 13th home run of the season with a two-run shot in game two. Bolding tied her season high for home runs in a season and her 26 career homers is tied for second in program history.
Junior Katie McDonald (11-11) picked up the win in the circle, while redshirt freshman Reese Poston also appeared in relief.
In game one, Audrey Hensley led the way by going 1-for-2 at the plate and blasting her first collegiate home run with a solo shot in the second. The freshman also drove in two more runs, including a sac fly in the fifth. Eli Enriquez notched a three-hit outing, while Payton Pudlowski collected two hits.
