Junior Sonny Wilson leads Rockets with game-high 21 points
MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A cold shooting second half left the Toledo men's basketball team on the short end of a 75-70 decision on Saturday afternoon at Rober Morris (8-4).
Junior Sonny Wilson led the Rockets (5-5) with a game-high 21 points. Senior Sean Craig added 15 points and six rebounds, while junior Austin Parks contributed 13 points, eight boards and two blocked shots.
Toledo held a 42-24 halftime advantage thanks in large part to a 23-0 run that put the Rockets ahead 34-13 with 5:43 remaining in the first half. The Colonials opened the second half with a 15-1 spurt to trim UT's lead to 43-39 and eventually took a 60-56 lead with 5:41 left following a 7-0 burst. The Rockets couldn't draw within closer than three points the remainder of the contest.
The Rockets shot 48.4% from the field in the opening 20 minutes but were limited to a 5-of-29 mark in the second stanza. Robert Morris rebounded from a 33.3 shooting mark in the first half with a 57.1 clip in the final 20 minutes.
DeSean Goode and Ryan Prather Jr. led the Colonials with 17 points apiece.
QUOTING HEAD COACH TOD KOWALCZYK:
Our first half was great and we really defended their ball screens well. Then we didn't shoot well in the second half, and you can't beat a good team on the road when you do that. I also thought we let our lack of success on the offensive end affect our defensive energy and we started getting frustrated.

The Rockets will then host NAIA foe Lourdes University on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 12:00 p.m. before taking a holiday break.
