Rockets’ 56-game regular season begins on Feb. 13 at Memphis
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo Baseball Head Coach Rob Reinstetle announced the Rockets' 2026 schedule on Friday.
The season begins on Feb. 13 with the first of three games at Memphis. The Rockets' 2026 slate includes six MAC series and 24 total games in the Glass City, including two games at Fifth Third Field, home of the Toledo Mud Hens, vs. Bowling Green and Michigan. Toledo also plays at Michigan on March 17Â and at Ohio State on March 31.
Â
"Once again, we have put together a challenging schedule," said Reinstetle. "The first three weekends of non-conference play will challenge us right out of the gate. These quality opponents early on will prepare us for the rigor of the MAC schedule. We have formed some new intense rivals in the conference to match our traditional rival down I-75. Finally, we'll get to play twice Downtown at Fifth Third again. Our guys love the environment of those games. We've learned to love competing day-in and day-out, because we'll be tested."
Â
The Rockets begin their home schedule at Scott Park in a series against UMass (March 6-8), Toledo also hosts MAC series against Northern Illinois (March 13-14), Eastern Michigan (April 2-4), Miami (April 17-19), Ball State (May 1-3) and Kent State (May 14-16). Toledo will also host home midweek games against Dayton (April 8), Youngstown State (April 21), Oakland (April 29) and Butler (May 6).
Â
Toledo returns to Fifth Third Field in Downtown Toledo for an April 14 matchup against Michigan and a May 12 contest against Bowling Green, marking six straight years the Rockets have played at the Mud Hens' home field. The May 12 matchup vs. the Falcons will not count towards the conference standings.
Â
The Rockets will hit the road for five series in MAC play, traveling to Central Michigan (March 20-22), Akron (March 27-29), Western Michigan (April 10-12), Bowling Green (April 24-26) and Ohio (May 8-10). Toledo will also play on the road for midweeks at Dayton (Feb. 25), Northern Kentucky (March 10), Michigan (March 17), Butler (March 24), Ohio State (March 31), Oakland (April 7) and Youngstown State (April 22).
Â
The top six teams in the MAC standings will reach the Mid-American Conference Tournament, which returns to Crushers Stadium in Avon, Ohio on May 20-23.
Â
Toledo put together a stellar finish to the 2025 season to close the campaign at 32-29, and 17-13 in the MAC. The Rockets reached the MAC Tournament championship finals, winning a program-record four games in last season's tournament.
