Men's tennis will start the week at its final ITF World Tour event for the fall season. Junior
Poonthong Komolpisut will compete in singles competition with other Rockets seeing action in the qualifying round. The squad will wrap up its 2025 fall slate with the Zach Barden Memorial Invite at Launchpad Tennis this weekend. The Rockets will compete in singles and doubles contests against other schools.

Football takes on Miami at Yager Stadium on Wednesday night in a crucial battle of two programs still fighting for a spot in the MAC Championship. The Rockets have won three of the last four matchups against the RedHawks, including a 30-20 victory last season at the Glass Bowl. UT (5-4, 3-2 in MAC) comes into the game off a 42-3 blowout win over Northern Illinois, improving their home record to 5-0. Miami (5-4, 4-1 in MAC), led by former Toledo quarterback Dequan Finn, fell out of sole possession of first place in the MAC last week after losing 24-20 to Ohio. Wednesday night's game will be televised on ESPN2.
CROSS COUNTRY

The men's and women's cross country programs continue the championship portion of their season, heading to the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship in Evansville, Ind. on Friday. The top two teams in the regional meet will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 22 in Columbia, Mo. An additional 13 schools will be selected from the nine regions as at-large teams. The top four individuals to cross the finish line and top two at-large racers not competing on a team will also advance to the National Championship. The women's team competed in its sixth NCAA National Championship meet in program history last year while the men's team saw its first competitor in the national competition since 1975.

Women's basketball takes on Horizon League opponent Detroit Mercy on Sunday afternoon at Savage Arena. The Rockets have won their last five matchups against the Titans and are 9-1 against them since 2007. Toledo (0-2) battled hard in their home opener against Gonzaga this past weekend, but came up just short, losing 72-69. Sophomore forward
Evalyse Cole had a strong performance in the loss, scoring 10 points and shooting 3-for-6 from beyond the arc. Detroit Mercy (1-0) started off their season with a 78-48 home victory over Valparaiso. The Titans were picked to finish seventh in the Horizon League preseason poll.
