Women's Golf will open its 2026-27 season on Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 14-15 by hosting the Rocket Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio. Monday's play will begin with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. Toledo will be hosting seven teams in the event, including Mid-American Conference members Akron, Central Michigan and Ohio.

Men's Golf will continue hosting the Inverness Intercollegiate on Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 14-15 at the Inverness Club. Toledo is tied for second place at seven-over par after the first round with junior Bence Bertenyi tied for third place with a one-under par 70. Iowa is leading the 18-team field at one-under par. The Rockets' tee times will begin at 12:10 p.m. on Monday with the ESPN+ broadcast beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Women's Soccer begins Mid-American Conference play this week with a matchup against Kent State on Thursday, taking on the Golden Flashes at 7:00 p.m. at Paul Hotmer Field. The matchup will air on BCSN and ESPN+. The Rockets will then face their first road non-conference matchup of the season at Buffalo on Sunday. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m. on YouTube. Toledo (4-2-1) came back from a 2-0 halftime deficit to tie IU Indy, 2-2. Sophomore Ella Zoerhoff scored both goals in the comeback and leads the MAC with eight goals this season.

Women's Volleyball returns to Savage Arena for a pair of non-conference matches this weekend. The Rockets will welcome Missouri on Friday, Sept. 18 for a Retro Rockets themed game where the first 250 fans will receive a free throwback Toledo t-shirt. UT will then host Dayton on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. for the Breakfast Club game where the first 100 fans will get free donuts. The squad went undefeated at the West Virginia Invitational last weekend, posting wins over Lehigh, VCU and West Virginia. The 3-2 victory over the Mountaineers was the program's first 'Power 4' win since the Rockets took down Arizona State in 2022. Ava Siefke continues to lead the offense with 84 total kills and 3.00 kills/set while Grace Freiberger is dishing out 3.75 digs/set.

Women's Rowing opens up its second-ever season on the Maumee River on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Glass City Regatta. The Rockets will begin competition with the Collegiate 8+ race at 10:40 a.m. followed by the Collegiate 4+ race at 2:15 p.m. This season's roster includes over 15 returners from the inaugural roster a year ago, including Second Team All-MAC honorees Maggie Merriman and Kamryn Stripp.

Men's & Women's Cross Country will travel to Terre Haute, Ind. for Indiana State's John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. on Saturday, Sept. 19. Indiana State is the host site for the 2026 NCAA Division I Championships. The No. 25-ranked Women will be competing in a field that includes No. 8 Northern Arizona, No. 9 Stanford, No. 11 Northwestern, No. 14 Florida, No. 18 Colorado, No. 20 Utah and No. 28 Boston College. The men are racing against a field that includes No. 6 Colorado, No. 7 Northern Arizona, No. 9 BYU, No. 10 Wisconsin, No. 11 Washington State, No. 12 Eastern Kentucky, No. 16 Butler, No. 17 Michigan State, No. 20 Georgia, No. 21 Florida, No. 23 Air Force, No. 24 California Baptist. The women opened their season with a narrow second-place finish at Michigan State's Spartan Invitational last Friday. Freshman Purity Chepkirui paced UT in the 6k race in her first race as a Rocket.

The Rockets are back home at the Glass Bowl on Saturday, Sept. 19 for a Week 3 matchup against Temple. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. and will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network. Tickets are available for Saturday's matchup at UTRockets.com/tickets. The Glass Bowl will be filled with music on Saturday as bands from the area will join the Rocket Marching Band for Band Day. The game will also feature a Toledo Football Dance Clinic pregame performance and will recognize educators from the area for Extra Yard For Teachers. The Rockets (1-1) are coming off their first win in the Mike Jacobs era with a 63-10 victory over Central Connecticut State.
