Women's Volleyball heads to the West Virginia Invite for its first road matches of the season and will take on Lehigh, VCU and West Virginia during the tournament. The Rockets picked up a 3-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne last week before falling to Notre Dame, 3-1. Ava Siefke is leading the offense with 3.62 kills/set, while Jessica Costlow is averaging 3.88 digs/set.

Men's & Women's Cross Country will open their seasons at Michigan State's Spartan Invitational on Friday, Sept. 11. The Rocket women are ranked No. 25 nationally, marking their second-highest preseason ranking ever and just the fourth time ever UT has been ranked in the national preseason polls. The Rocket men are ranked sixth in the NCAA Great Lakes Region for the highest regional ranking in program history. Michigan State's women are ranked No. 3 in the Great Lakes Region, while its men are ranked No. 4.

Football returns to the Glass Bowl for the 2026 home opener on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m. against Central Connecticut State. Gates for 'The Biggest Party in Toledo' open at 2 p.m. Saturday's game will also be First Responder Day and Greek Day. Streaming will be on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network. Toledo rallied back from an early 13-point deficit to take a 20-19 lead in the fourth quarter at Michigan State, before falling to the Spartans, 30-20. Adjatay Dabbs caught two touchdown passes in the comeback effort.

Men's Golf will host some of the nation's top teams and players at the 18th Inverness Intercollegiate on Sunday-Tuesday, Sept. 13-15. The 54-hole tournament will be played at the Inverness Club. Tee times will begin off the No. 1 hole each day at 8:30 a.m. Eleven of the 18 programs competing in the tournament were represented in NCAA postseason play last year, highlighted by defending national champion Auburn. The Tigers are ranked No. 2 in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Preseason Coaches Poll and will be joined in the Glass City by No. 5 Texas Tech, No. 6 Vanderbilt, No. 7 Tennessee, No. 9 LSU, No. 17 Oklahoma, and No. 22 Ole Miss.

Women's Soccer closes out the non-conference slate with a home matchup against IU Indy on Sunday. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. with broadcasts on BCSN and ESPN+. Toledo will hold its annual Mental Health Awareness game, with mental health activations throughout the match. The Rockets (4-2) knocked off Duquesne in a 1-0 shutout on Thursday, with Mikaela Perkins heading in the winning goal in the 74th minute. Ella Zoerhoff and McKenna Schultz each scored on Sunday, but the Rockets fell to Georgia Southern, 3-2.
